I have finally submitted my book, A Ghost In New Orleans, to my publisher. It will be my third fictional novel in two years. I hope you will all find it enjoyable. It is a mixture of New Orleans history, ghosts, and Voodoo with a touch of romance and suspense. Youo can expect this book to be available by the end of June. It will be sold in softcover trade paperback and as an e-book.

Well, I made arrangements with my publisher, Xlibris, to do another book with them. This book is a zombie book! It will have 5 stories that are all connected, so it will most likely have a lot of pages. I thought about making it a series of 5 books, but one story is too short. It was really meant to be a short story. Anyway, the book starts out in the Manhattanville area just west of Harlem. It's where I worked as a police officer. My co-workers and residents of that area will probably enjoy reading about the way I include the area into these stories.
I will try to tell the stories that are character driven with a decent amount of action and gore, while explaining in great detail the way I believe zombies would actually behave and how their biology should work. I promise there will be new things that no other zombie story has ever mentioned. I've paid close attention to other writers and how zombies are portrayed and I've thought long and hard about new theories that would make more sense, if there ever were an actual zombie apocalypse. Since I am currently already working on 3 other book projects, don't expect to see this one until 2016. That doesn't mean I won't try to get it done sooner. Only time will tell. I've already begun writing, so I won't have to start from scratch. Stay tuned for my first official zombie book... "The Manhattanville Incident"! I have just made a deal with the publisher of my first two books, Xlibris. They will be publishing two of my next books, another fictional novel ("A Ghost In New Orleans") and my long awaited historic guide to the abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center on Long Island ("KPPC: A Journey Through History"). Both books are to be published in 2015 and will be available as trade paperbacks and e-books. However, the Kings Park book will also be available on hardcover with over a hundred full color photos, maps, and blueprints.
For information on when they will be available and how to purchase them, please check back with this website in the Spring of 2015. I should have a better idea by that time. Great news! My second novel is complete. I sent it to the publisher less than an hour ago. It should take approximately two months before it is published. I cannot wait to hold this book in my hands. It means a lot to me because it was actually the first full length story I ever finished. I wrote the original draft in 1990, while I was still in college. My nephew Chris was there by my side, as the roots to this story were created. I am very proud to see it as a full length novel that the world can read and enjoy. I hope I have exceeded the expectations of all of my new fans. Thank you so much for buying my first book or for taking the time to look at my website. Now that I am retired I have nothing but time on my hands to write books for the rest of my life. I will try not to disappoint anyone. Keep an eye out for my second book, "The Diary of Audrey Malone Frayer," ON SALE NOW! As of now, this book is finished and is currently on sale as of July 9, 2013. The book is available as a softcover trade paperback and as an electronic download (E-book/Kindle) through Xlibris' website and on Amazon.com. It is also being sold through Barnes and Noble. The book contains three separate stories, which are connected through its characters and by its location at the Kings Park Psychiatric Center, which was formerly known as the Kings Park State Hospital. Thank you for your patience and support. Attention: I'd like to issue a public apology to my readers. It seems in my haste to get my first book published, I have overlooked a few editorial errors. The most notable error can be found at the very end of the first prologue, which is entitled "Group 2." It was made before I rearranged the order of the stories. I am deeply sorry. I assure you steps will be taken to avoid that kind of a foul up for future books. That being said, I believe you will still be able to enjoy the stories just the same. Thank you for reading my book and or visiting my website. THEY GOT THEIR BOOKS... WHERE'S YOURS?
While I am the team leader of the Yonkers Ghost Investigators, I want it to be known that I will not let it entirely influence the focus of my books. Of course, my experiences with the team have already influenced a few stories, but I don't plan on only writing ghost stories or horror stories. I have a very wide range of book ideas in mind for the future.
Of course, as book release dates become known to me, I will post it all over the place. It will not be a secret. Trust me.
As of now, my first book has already been released. The book is called "No Hope for the Hopeless at Kings Park" and can be purchased through this website, directly from the publisher, or from Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble. Stay tuned for my second book, which is just about finished and ready to publish. I was hoping for a December release, but it is looking more like January 2014. It's called "The Diary of Audrey Malone Frayer." I am also working on a book about haunted locations in Yonkers. More on that when it becomes available. I just want to make sure we are all clear on this... Tribal Publications, Inc. is NOT a publishing company. It's just my way of putting an official looking personal signature on my own creations.
As you can see, I love to take photos. Sometimes I go out of my way to take photos of very unlikely locations, such as abandoned psychiatric hospitals, underground tunnel systems, and cemeteries. Let's just call it research for my books.
Just for the record I use a Nikon D-3100 for most of my photographer. I also use an old Fuji digital camera, a Bell+Howell infrared digital camera, and a full spectrum digital camera. I hate taking pictures with my cellphone, so I generally do not. I pretty much always have a camera with me. You never know when you need to take a picture of something. I guess I could have been a newspaper photographer. It just isn't my style. I'd like to apologize for teasing you guys with all of these home movies I made, which will be transformed into books. There are too many copyright issues involved, so I can never sell those and I certainly won't give them away for free. All I can do is promise you that the book versions will be ten times better than the home movie versions.
