In this second story from the book, we are introduced to many new and interesting characters. It is these individuals, who will ultimately form the core group of survivors for the remainder of the book.
What begins for them as a normal night in the confines of the 26 police precinct in Harlem, soon turns into the beginning of Zombie Apocalypse. Cops on routine patrol, working the graveyard shift, discover that thieves, gang bangers, rapists, and drunk drivers are the least of their worries, when a deadly viral outbreak occurs.
Surviving the first night of Hell on Earth will not be their only problem. The real test will be escaping the city in one piece, once it becomes the heart of the Infected Zone.
