The Manhattanville Incident, An Undead Novel by Jason Medina (Harlem Pier facing north).

The Manhattanville Incident
An Undead Novel: Book 1

This is a collection of six stories that are intertwined together by various elements. All tell of the progression of a zombie outbreak in New York City and how it progresses into an apocalyptic event.

An obsessive biologist and apothecarist creates what he believes to be the ultimate cure for cancer, which could possibly end all diseases on Earth. However, when his unsanctioned experiment goes wrong, it is the rest of the world that must pay the price. The virus quickly spreads throughout Manhattan and into the surrounding areas.

Amidst the chaos, many people struggle to escape the city and survive, while infected people and reanimated corpses swarm after them with a relentless desperation.

Will anyone survive this pandemic? Has the world finally come to an end? One thing that is certain is there is no cure in sight.

And don't forget to check out the sequel, "Aftermath of the Manhattanville Incident," now available!

“Survival lies in our ability to fight and rebuild.” – Jason Medina (Grant Hamilton), Man's End

Biohazard Outbreak

In the first story of the book, we learn the detailed origin of events that will lead to the Zombie  Apocalypse.

Contamination Effect

It's cops vs. zombies in this second story of the book, as a viral outbreak occurs in Manhattan. First responders will certainly have their hands full on what will become known as the first night of the Zombie Apocalypse. Some survivors will try to escape from the city, before it's too late, while others will become trapped.

Brundlefly

In this brief tale, told from the first person point of view, we bear witness as one person must deal with the consequences of his actions. He may not like what happens next.

Metropolis of the Undead

The city is under siege by the walking dead, as groups of scattered survivors try desperately to escape. Who will make it to the end or will all hope be lost?

Patient Zeros

Zombies have taken over New York City, but who was the first to be infected and how did it happen? Inquiring minds want to know.

Man's End

A month has passed, since the viral outbreak. The virus is spreading into other regions. Is there no hope for survival? It seems this is the last stand of the human race in this final story about survival during the Zombie Apocalypse.
