KPPC: My Photographic Journey
This next book about the Kings Park Psychiatric Center was originally intended as a photo journal and follow-up to my fifth book, "KPPC: A Journey Through History." It was basically going to be a photographic tour of the hospital, its buildings, the underground tunnels, and the surrounding grounds of the Nissequogue River State Park with very few words, aside from photo credits and descriptions. I already had permission from many people to publish their work with mine, so I would have a full array of photos to choose from.
However, now that I am finished working on the other book, I am uncertain if this book is even necessary. I was not intending to use as many photos as I did for KPPC: A Journey Through History, but I ended up using more than 3100 photos. There really isn't a need for a second book anymore.
For the moment, the future of this book is up in the air. It might end up being a limited edition photobook made through a website only available through special orders and it will only feature my photography.
